Lake Garda is considered to have a peculiar ‘micro-climate’ that guarantees in agriculture a high quality of fruits, olives, vegetables and their products. The most typical Lake Garda’s element is Olive Oil EXTRA, produced exclusively in this area, very light and delicate.

In Desenzano you can also visit the Montecroce olive oil-mill, an historical farm, where you can also buy local home made products and Garda’s oil.

Lake Garda area is very important and famous also for its wine. Here we produce three principal types: white wine, red whine and rosè, the typical one.
The most famous local wine is Lugana, white wine with an aromatic smell, perfect to drink with fish plates and in summer. Bardolino is another local wine, red, in the varieties of novello or classic, produced in Bardolino, Lazise, Affi, Cavaion and Costermano.

But the real Garda Lake wine is Rosè, pink coloured, with a smell of flowers, perfect for happy hour thanks to its freshness. Not only oil and wine, but the lake is famous also for its Lake Fish, for example Carpione, Coregone, Luccio, Sarde, Alborelle.
Fine is also cheese: Grana Padano, Provolone Valpadana, Bagoss and Valtenesi.
