The Castle

Summer schedule: open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.30 to 12 am and from 4.30 to 7.30 pm. Of Medieval origin it rose on the base of a Roman castrum.
Completely restored it allows to enjoy one of the most beautiful view of the Garda. During the summer season, different events such as theatrical performances, outdoor movie theater and country festival are organized in its courtyards.
La Villa Romana

It’s the most important Roman Villa in North Italy, with beautiful mosaic floors and a little museum inside.

This museum has a collection of Mesolithic and Neolithic archeological evidences and it conserves the oldest plough in the world.

The cathedral of Desenzano was built in 1582, it has a basilical plant and three naves and it represents one of the most beautiful example of Late Renaissance in the area. Inside you can admire the wonderful S.S. sacramento Chapel by the Italian artist Gian Battista Tiepolo.
